The offer is constantly evolving. Here are the ways one could get involved:
Private sessions
Arranged as needed private tester sessions are tailored to you and/or your group, depending if it's a family or a special occasion get-together. Up to 10 people.
Private session can include trying out potters wheel: up to 4 people, These sessions give a feel of making pots on the electric potter’s wheel. During the session we will prepare the clay for throwing on the wheel, I will give you a demonstration taking you through the step by step process of shaping a bowl. After the demo you will get onto the wheel and I will guide you through the process.
The work your group creates will be glazed for you and you can pick them up a few weeks later.
Length: 2.5 hours*
Cost*: 1 person £90; 2 £60 pp; 3 £50pp, 4-6 £45 pp, 7-8 £40 pp. Materials and firing for up to 1/2 kilo pp is included.

Makers Club
Supervised drop in sessions where you come with an idea, we guide you through execution and fire your work. All materials are provided. Please be at peace with surprises. Ceramics is unpredictable and every studio has unique materials and firing schedules. These sessions are for people who want to get to know the material and create more complex outcomes than what is possible in intro & tester sessions.

Pre-requisite: beginner course from other ceramic studios + £30 studio induction; if no experience private session £90pp.

Makers club work examples
Independent Studio use
If you are experienced in ceramics, you can use the studio space independently. We will share our tools, glazes and clays, fire your pieces, and do recycling for you.
You MUST have sufficient experience working in a shared studio space. The level of experience is assessed by the studio owners, during the initial conversation. Roughly equivalent to a year (3 terms) of attending community studio. Before using the studio you will need to have an induction hour long session, priced at £30.
Clayveryse is not a commercial or production studio and is for educational and recreational use only. There is limited kiln space and so we cannot accommodate large quantities of work to be fired.

Cost of studio use is £6 hour + £12 per kilo of final work
If you make at home firing costs are:
- For the bisque the cost will be £6 per kilo then glaze £10 per kilo with minimal charge is £10
